Royal Caribbean's NEWEST Ship - the Utopia! The Utopia of the Seas: The World's Biggest Weekend is the world's second largest cruise ship behind the Icon of the Seas. It is the sixth ship in the Oasis Class and entered service on July 19, 2024 out of Port Canaveral, so we were on the 4th sailing in the Inaugural Season on this cruise ship on August 5, 2024!
This vlog shows a port day at Royal Caribbean's private island - Perfect Day at Coco Cay in the Bahamas!
If you are wondering what is the best area for adults on Perfect Day, then then vlog will likely be helpful! Our tram guide also agreed that South Beach is the least populated area, and it has a swim up bar. Kids are allowed, and there are fun activities like basketball, volleyball, and more, but there aren't the kid slides and water activities here.
While the food at the snack shack was great and had enough options that I'm sure most people could find something they like, other spots more in the middle of the island have a greater selection. Overall, I was very happy with our choice!
We also checked out other areas of the island later, and I show a preview of what is available in the shopping area.
I show the beach wheelchairs that are available, and these are scattered throughout all areas of the island. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, but if you can't find one, alert a Royal Caribbean staff member and they should be able to help you track one down. One thing I would suggest is marked parking areas for scooters and other mobility aids because I ended up just parking it in random spots.
We went in August, and the water was a great temperature. They were definitely on the cautious side with not allowing people in the water at certain times, but I definitely understand and appreciate their attention to safety!
I hope that you enjoy the vlog, and if you have any questions, put them in the comments!

Do you have any favorite cruise ships for traveling with a disability or wheelchair? Would you be interested in a video where I compare Disability-Friendly Cruise Lines with the Utopia versus the Wish? Let me know in the comments!

Welcome to daniellevates! The channel name is a play on the words Danielle + elevates, because this channel is all about elevating ideas about disability and rare disease through humor and adventures! Vlogs feature my adventures and include accessibility reviews. There will also be funny clips of awkward and true moments in the lives of people with disabilities and rare diseases. Since birth, I have had an extremely rare (technically undiagnosed) neuromuscular disease. Depending on how strenuous the adventure is, sometimes I use a scooter and sometimes I don’t - I simply strive to make all content as genuine as possible and to be a positive advocate for the disability and rare disease community.
