The Whiskey Crusaders review Bruichladdich Octomore 7.3 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky which comes in at 126 proof. It is 5 years old from the James Brown’s Octomore farm. 7.3 was distilled in 2010 from grain harvested from a single field called Lorgba in 2009. The malt was peated to 169ppm and matured on Islay in American oak ex-bourbon being married to casks from the great Spanish red wine growing region of Ribera del Duero. Jim McEwan and Adam Hannett selected these together.
