Nigerians are frustrated by a nationwide shortage of petrol, exacerbated by a cash shortage, after the country required residents to replace paper money with newly designed currency notes. Some residents queued for a whole day but still did not get fuel. Only a few banks were distributing the new banknotes, leaving many without access to cash.
