In this video, you’ll learn to:
- Write an icebreaker
It’s a personalized sentence that grabs your prospect’s attention and keeps them reading. You should never send the same generic message to everyone but personalize it for each prospect. This is how you’ll increase your reply rate and book more meetings.
- Mention a pain point
When doing cold outreach, you must understand the challenges and objectives of your target to provide them valuable help.
- Add social proof
It’s super important to build credibility and trust. You can do that by mentioning relevant testimonials or stats.
- Provide value
The goal of your first cold email should never be to sell but to build a relationship. Try to help your prospect first. For that, provide value to them, whether it is a piece of helpful content or a solution to their problem,… make sure you give them something that will genuinely interest them.
- Have a clear CTA
At the end of your cold email, make sure you have a clear call to action. In most B2B sales prospecting and lead generation, this usually means booking a meeting. A little tip is to trigger their curiosity.
