Following the introduction vid here: [ Ссылка ] I decided that the first thing I would do is sort out the intonation of my el cheapo Squier Bullet Strat with its flexible neck. Yes, I still have the protective film on the pickguard and the pickups :)

Intonating a guitar is important to ensure that the 12th fret actually does give you an octave and not something higher or lower, and to do this you shorten or lengthen each string individually until you get your octave.
