Director Mustafa Kara, was awarded the Inaugural APSA Young Cinema Award, presented by NETPAC and Griffith Film School for his second feature, Turkish film Cold of Kalandar (Kalandar Soğuğu, Turkey, Hungary). This new and important Award launched in recognition of the APSA 10th anniversary to honour emerging talent from the region, eligible to directors of debut or sophomore feature narrative films in feature competition.
