A Water Canal Cruise in Dubai is a must do activity. It's one of the best ways to see Dubai. Not only do you get so see many Dubai landmarks, but you also get a delicious international buffet while on board.

The Dubai Water Canal Cruise that we took is called the Al Faris Floating Restaurant. It is located at Dubai Festival City. You can easily park at the Dubai Festival City Mall for free. Then you make your way through the mall to get to Dubai Festival City Bay where the boat is docked. When visiting Dubai Festival City mall previously, we really enjoyed the Robot Cafe. We also had a fun day at The Arch, which is right next to the Dubai Festival City Mall. You can also watch the IMAGINE fountain show that happens several times a night in Dubai Festival City Bay. We bought our tickets for the Dubai Water Canal Cruise on Groupon and paid 254 AED for 2 tickets. The tickets included the international buffet with drinks and the cruise. The cruise lasted about 2 hours. It starts and ends at Dubai Festival City Bay.

The Al Faris Floating Restaurant leaves Dubai Festival City Mall where you can see the IMAGINE show happening in Dubai Festival City Bay. We also went through Business Bay which is Dubai's financial district. The highlight of the Dubai Water Canal Cruise was going through the Sheikh Zayed Bridge Waterfall. It's Dubai's first sensor operated waterfall bridge. After going under the waterfall bridge, the boat turns around and makes it way back to Dubai Festival City.

While on board, we really enjoyed the top floor open air dining experience. The service was great and the views of the Dubai landmarks made the trip a memorable one. We definitely recommend Al Faris Floating Restaurant for a cruise through the Dubai Water Canal.
