Cross-genre composition: encoding characters in the chamber opera I.th.Ak.A. with semiotic elements derived from commercial music genres.

A presentation of the viva voce/defense of my 2018 thesis project, which was considered and accepted by the University of Music and Theatre, Hamburg, in 2018.

The thesis project, which consisted of both an artistic (operatic composition) and an academic (discursive written text) component, was executed under the framework of artistic research.
