CSNYC Education Meetup - CB Insights x CSNYC: How to Think Like a Data Scientist - CB Insights NYC - Dec. 6 2016

In celebration of CSEdWeek, we invited NYC CS folk to spend an educational evening with CB Insights on How to Think Like a Data Scientist!

CB Insights' Tech Industry Analyst, Kerry Wu led a session for teachers aligned with the new K12 CS Framework Data Concepts. The session used real-world examples to demonstrate how a raw data set can be used to make meaningful business inferences and predictions, tracing the data analysis and thought process. This included examples teachers could bring back to their classroom. Although applicable for a broad range of K12 teachers, some examples are explicitly useful for CS Principles teachers as they cover the topic of data.
