Wedge - tailed eagle trying to fly with horror the boy on the popular show wildlife in the central part of Australia.
A crowd of stunned onlookers watched a huge bird claws latch onto the head screaming boy during a show at the Alice Springs Desert Park.
According to witnesses, the bird tried to take it, "like a little animal."
Boy - it is that six to eight years - escaped with "superficial" wound on his face.
Kristin O'Connell from Horsham in Victoria was visiting the park with her husband on July 6 when the attack occurred.
She told the BBC's eagle flew straight at the boy from about 15 meters away.
