The 1.53 update for American Truck Simulator is here, bringing new features and improvements. Phase 4 of the California Rework introduces 10 reworked cities, including Los Angeles, San Diego, and new routes like US-101 and I-5. Dynamic cargo loading for logs is now available across the USA, and the Freightliner Cascadia Fifth Generation has been added to Driving Academy. Special Transport gets a new route between Los Angeles and San Diego, with speed limits increased to 55 mph. The update also adds sliding tandem axles for trailers and UI improvements like smooth camera centering and visual indicators for changed settings.
