Carolyn Silverberg is a self-proclaimed Bardolator who earned her MA in Shakespeare from Royal Holloway University of London and her BA in English & Theatre Studies from St. Norbert College. With Play-by-Play, she directed Green Bay’s inaugural Shakespeare in the Park production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (while also playing Helena), as well as this past summer’s safe “The Taming of the Shrew”. Her love of and passion for Shakespeare began in 5th grade when she played Lady Macbeth (yes, really), a love and passion she continues to share and instill with the greater Green Bay community.
Brandon Ponschock graduated from St. Norbert College in 2012, with a BA in Communications and Theater Studies. He has been cast in a few recent Play-by-Play Shakespearean productions, including as Nick Bottom in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Hortensio in "The Taming of the Shrew". He has also been involved in Comedy City's recurring event, "Drunk Shakespeare", playing the roles of Witch #2 and Macduff in a one hour version of Macbeth. He is very grateful to the kind folks at Play-by-Play for being given so many opportunities to inhabit some legendary characters, and to tell some timeless stories.
