I have not found this to be common practice but I feel like it is a great way to preserve certain clasps that have been designed to match the chain / bracelet -and more cost effective / quicker to turn around that ordering something in. Is this something you practice in your workshop? Is it something you'd consider trying?
I thought we'd make a short video on this today and hope you enjoy what we've put together. Any questions or suggestions are always welcome!
For instance, is there something that you feel works better than the guitar string? I'm open to it. These videos are always just us sharing our experience and inviting others to ask questions and do the same. Let's learn and grow together!

We've been snowed under and always GRATEFUL to be busy but it has taken its toll with the content as Damia has been on splitting her time between the bench, helping me with the jewellery work, and assisting clients / filming / editing. We're expanding the team so that we can free up some time for her to fully flourish in this department. As usual, thank you for bearing with us!
Happy Sunday to everyone. Big love to everyone from myself and Damia.
