Peragaan busana bertajuk "Istana Berbatik" diadakan untuk merayakan Hari Batik Nasional. Sebanyak 503 orang berpose di atas runway sepanjang 150 meter. Tidak hanya model profesional tetapi para menteri, istri menteri, kepala lembaga, BUMN, gubernur dari berbagai kota, selebriti, dan atlet juga turut berpartisipasi. Ajang ini merupakan kesempatan yang luar biasa untuk merayakan hari batik nasional dan menunjukkan batik sebagai warisan dengan ragam motif dan warnanya.
