Lizard is a 3D-printed RC car. It is almost fully custom-built, with the exception of the wheels. It encompasses custom electronics (ESP32 for wireless communication and controlling the car) and runs on rear-wheel drive with a 775 brushed DC motor. The gearbox includes an open differential and has a 6:1 gear reduction ratio. Max speed is around 30 km/h (with a tire diameter of ~10-11 cm). The steering is adjusted to around 50-60 % Ackermann geometry. The wheelbase is 300 mm and the track width is 280 mm. The short-arm long-arm double whisbone suspension results in a negative camber angle upon moving up a wheel (up to ~ -3°). The front wheels have +10° caster angle and the steering axis inclination is 12.5°.
