Learn how to build a flip top tool stand with my easy step by step plans! If you are looking for the perfect storage solution for bulky benchtop tools, this flip top tool stand is exactly what you need!

When you are working in a small shop, space is always an issue! I just picked up a planer and needed a good place to store it. I also have a sander that needed a storage spot, so I figured I could make something that accomplished both tasks.

As I mention in the video, this is NOT my 100% original design. I took a look at a lot of the popular flip top tool stand cart project videos on YouTube and blog posts. After looking at them, I modeled a version to fit my tools and my space requirements. I took bits and pieces from a few and combined them all into a version that works for me and my tools. Again, this is NOT my 100% original design and I want to acknowledge some of the folks that I took inspiration from to give them credit.
