The Texas Rangers signed former Tampa Bay Rays reliever Shawn Armstrong to a 1-year contract to fortify the middle of their bullpen. Armstrong joins the additions of Jacob Webb, Robert Garcia and Hoby Milner.
Former Rangers Kirby Yates and Chris Martin are reportedly the remaining Texas' targets to fill out the remaining spots in the back end of the bullpen.
