How did you make your chicken gizzards into a delicious dish? In this video, I will show you step by step on How To Make Spicy Chicken Gizzards With Herbs Salad. This is how I like to make my chicken gizzard dish (Hmong dish).
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken gizzards
- 2 stalks lemongrass
- 5-6 stalks green onion
- Cilantro
- 1 handful mint
- 2 stalks Japanese sweet flag (pawj qaib)
- 4 red chili pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon mushroom seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon better than bouillon chicken soup base mixed with 8-10 tablespoons hot water or more depending on how you like it (juicy or dry)
- 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried pepper flake
- Black pepper to taste
NOTE: You can use chicken stock instead of water however if you chicken stock already has flavor, please don't use chicken bouillon or adjust according to your taste.
- Use lemon juice and salt to clean/massage the chicken gizzard 3-4 times to get rid of the smell.
