The National Situationer Update is an annual offering which aims at raising the awareness and understanding of our students in socio-political and economic issues, and other specific issues affecting the youth and the state of the nation, and motivating them to critically and intelligently think and react. The activity is part of the Ateneo Leadership Development Program, OSA’s overarching formation program for student leaders and organizations.

For this year’s NatSit, OSA has invited 𝑴𝒓. 𝑯𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒐 “𝑯𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒆” 𝑮. 𝑺𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒐 to be the resource speaker. Mr. Severino is GMA Network’s Vice President for Professional Development, news reporter, and leading investigative journalist. He is best known for his internationally award-winning documentaries in public affairs programs, “i-Witness” and “Probe Team.” His most recent TV special, “Ako si Patient 2828”, detailed his confinement and recovery as a COVID-19 patient.

This webinar is organized by the Ateneo de Naga University Office of Student Affairs (OSA), in cooperation with the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (PAPSAS) Region V.
