The Congress has approached the courts for relief against the Goa police's decision that its complaint against Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik's hate speech had no substance.
Congress spokesman, Durgadas Kamat, who had filed the complaint against Muthalik, said he has approached the JMFC for directions to the police to book the case and bring him to book.
He also hit out at the Government for being a mute spectator to Muthalik's antics and warned that his plans to set up a Goa unit by September could have an adverse effect on the next tourism season if they are allowed to carry out their activities opposing pub-culture as they did in Bangalore a few years ago.
