While it does require study and ACTUAL EFFORT to properly interpret the Bible... for those who are willing the Bible is quite easy to understand. The Gospel message is so easy a small child can understand it. The "deeper" doctrines of the Bible actually take some effort to understand, but again, are very accessible to all those willing to make an effort to understand them.
