The next step in the container home office conversion is to install a couple of excellect double glazed upvc windows. They both have two fully opening sections with toughened glass.

They're installed into the shipping container steel window frames by crewing with self tapping steel screws through the UPVC on all four sides of the frame for a very firm fixing. I used expanding foam between the windows and the shipping container for improved insulation and weather sealing, and a little bit of silicoln to close up any gaps.

The process was quick and simple, and now my shipping container home office is bright and airy.

The double glazing will help to reduce heat in summer, and keep the shipping container home office warmer in winter.
