Hello and welcome to this next episode of 'Trains at'. This one is from Finsbury park located on the East Coast Mainline between London Kings Cross and Harringay.

Finsbury Park is one of the better stations on the ECML mainly because of it's great frequency of trains however one big downside I find to the station is it's layout. It is slightly complicated and is very difficult to take decent videos/photos due to there being lot's of buildings and obstructions in between each platform. The better views are of the main up/down fast lines which sees regular LNER, Great Northern, Hull Trains and Grand Central services. The slow lines see more Great Northern services along with Thameslink trains and occasional ECS/freight trains. The main reason for me travelling to Finsbury Park was to finally see some GN Class 313's that were entering their final days of work. Luckily there were 2 sets working during the day. It was also very nice to catch some tones off some of the drivers.
