A suspicious Denmark-registered ship Denicia Sunrise has been detained by Coast Guard, off Mumbai coast, on Sunday evening (April 17). The ship was headed to Mumbai from Kuwait, and suspected to be carrying arms and ammunition. Personnel from Coast Guard, Intelligence Bureau, Indian Navy, Anti Terrorist Squad and Mumbai police are questioning the eight crew members. Meanwhile Intelligence Bureau sources say there were inputs to indicate suspicious movement on Danish ship and the crew could not substantiate claims of coming to Mumbai for repairs.
