India’s Train -18 based Semi-bullet train, Vande Bharat Express connecting only the SWR belt from KSR Bengaluru to Dharwad to be flagged off on June 26th, 2023.

The first trial run was from KSR Bengaluru to Arsikere Jn and then back to KSR Bengaluru with the maximum speed limit of 110Kmph.

Namma Karnataka gets its own Vande Bharat Express. The 8 Car mini Vande Bharat rake was in transit to Bengaluru all the way from Chennai area Perambur's Integral Coach Factory (ICF).

ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು - ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ - ಧಾರವಾಡ ನಡುವೆ ವಂದೇ ಭಾರತ್​ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್​ ರೈಲು 26 ಜೂನ್ 2023 ರಿಂದ ಸಂಚಾರ ನಡೆಸಲಿದೆ.

KSR Bengaluru - Dharwad VANDE BHARAT WILL COVER at a total distance of 488 Kms in just 6Hrs 55Mins at an Average Speed of 70 Kmph.

Stoppages/Scheduled Halts : Yesvantpur Jn, Davangere, Hubballi Jn and Dharwad.
