Queensland Police are cracking down on E-Scooters across the state as thousands received the electric scooter as Christmas gifts.
The safety blitz comes after hospitals in Townsville, and the southeast saw a sharp rise in scooter-related injuries.
Riders found doing 30 kilometres over the limit will be fined $575 and those caught using a mobile phone while riding will receive a $1000 fine.
