More than 200 Italian IFOR soldiers on Friday (29/12) arrived at
flocefon the Croatian coast to join the NATO mission to help
implement a peace accord in the former Yugoslavia. The troops,
from the Italian Bersagilieri (Infantry), were bound for Sarajevo
where they will take part in logistical operations. The ship was
also carrying 80 heavy vehicles and helicopters for use in and
around the Bosnian capital.
