Breaking: Minnesota adds second-degree murder charge against former officer Derek Chauvin and charges three others in death of George Floyd
A court filing Wednesday included the new charge against Chauvin, who was seen kneeling on Floyd’s neck before his death. Chauvin previously was charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.Former officers Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng, who were fired from the Minneapolis Police Department along with Chauvin, were charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder, according to court filings
