SuperCoach NBL – the official fantasy game of Australia’s top men’s league – is now open to start building your squad. Here's how to play SuperCoach NBL:
SuperCoach NBL is a FREE fun and exciting interactive fantasy competition, the premise being simple. You'll get the opportunity to take part in the SuperCoach NBL season as Coach and selector by entering your very own squad.
You select real players, and based on their real, actual performances each round, your team scores points according to each of your selected players' stats. Your team is then ranked against your friends/relatives within your own league/s and against fantasy Coaches in your state, those that support the same team and everyone else playing in the SuperCoach NBL competition.
The SuperCoach NBL competition offers plenty of interactivity. Make the tough decisions as to who plays in your starting line-up and who sits on your bench, trade players, and lots more.
When picking a team there are a few things to consider on how points are scored and differences with other formats of the game – AFL, NRL and BBL.
Scoring in SuperCoach NBL is simple.
Two-point Field Goal scored: 2 Points
Three-point Field Goal scored: 3 Points
Free Throw scored: 1 Point
Rebound: 1 Point
Assist: 2 Points
Block: 3 Points
Steal: 3 Points
Turnover: -2 Points
Double Double: 5 Points
Triple Double: 10 Points
You need to select your starting line-up of 5 players who will score FULL points, which includes 2 Forwards, 1 Centre and 2 Guards. Your remaining 5 players will form your Bench and contribute 50% of their points to your overall team score. If any of their individual scores are fractional (as a result of an 'odd' score being halved) those players' scores will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
