[Alternative History of Mongolia]
Many years have passed since the invasion of Soviet troops into Mongolia for its liberation from the occupation of China (taking into account the fact that Inner Mongolia was also liberated and annexed to Mongolia, which completely ruined relations with China). During this time, the connection between the two — Mongolia and the U.S.S.R. has become very strong.
Even after the outbreak of the Second World War, the Mongolian People's Republic showed its loyalty to the Soviet Union by sending food, warm clothes and even horses to the war. In the end, the war ended and between the Soviet Union and Mongolia, her great power of attorney was fixed to each other.
And their connection was fixed so that Mongolia even began to be called the 17th republic (at that time the Finno-Karelian S.S.R. had not yet been liquidated). After some time, Mongolia itself began to ask to become part of the U.S.S.R., but the Soviet government was afraid of even bigger problems with China. But despite the fact that China is still in a state of civil war, the Soviet Union still decided to take this desperate step. Mongolia became the 17th (later 16th) republic within the U.S.S.R. In addition, the Mongolian-Buryat A.S.S.R. was added to Mongolia, since the peoples were similar and it was a small gift for a great contribution to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
