The Chinese mainland has announced new measures for exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan. The measures offer Taiwan enterprises equal treatment with their mainland counterparts in investments and economic cooperation. The measures also grant Taiwan residents equal treatment when studying, working and living on the mainland. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council says the measures are aimed at sharing the opportunities of the mainland's development with the compatriots of Taiwan.
