As the national capital witnessed intermittent rainfall in the last 48 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a significant drop in minimum temperatures across several regions of the country.

This means that North India, including Delhi, is expected to witness a cold start to New Year 2025 along with other regions of the country. Northwest India is expected to register a fall of 3-5 degrees in minimum temperatures during the next two days.
