Buckingham Palace is preparing for a long weekend of platinum jubilee celebrations to mark the Queen's 70-year reign.
Crowds have been gathering along The Mall for days to catch a glimpse of the monarch and the royal family, who are expected to appear on the famous balcony later on Thursday.
Only working royals will stand alongside the monarch, meaning Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be on the balcony.
