Welcome to the Intro Episode of Streaming the Law!
In Streaming the Law, I break down real legal concepts using examples from popular TV shows, all from the perspective of a seasoned attorney.
As a former practicing attorney with over 15 years of experience, I've handled cases in areas like criminal defense, prosecution, divorce, estate law, and more, and in each episode, I’ll use this experience to compare fictional legal scenarios from television shows to what might really happen in the real world.
This intro episode also introduces our first character we will deep dive into -- the iconic Saul Goodman, first from Breaking Bad, and then from Better Call Saul.
It will take several episodes to compare Saul's shady moral character and legal practices against real-world legal ethics, and we should have a ton of fun doing so!
