Let's take a look at the standard 80 proof Cragganmore 12-year single malt whisky versus the latest (2020) limited edition release of Cragganmore bottled at 20 years old and 55.8% abv. Well, it's not really a comparison, but rather a nice snippet of what happens to their whisky once it's had time to mature up and is bottled at cask strength. The standard 12 has been a staple for many years, and while it's only bottled at 40% abv, I still think it has just enough to make it enjoyable. Retail pricing on the standard 12 year is around $60, and the 20 year should be somewhere around $180-$200.
