This meditation is one of great presence to sit with our suffering with grace, understanding and nurturance. Take your time to breathe, to arrive, to be, and to settle.
When we suffer from dissociation, deep grief, depression, ptsd, c-ptsd, anxiety or any other nervous system dis-regulating states we can be left feeling powerless, helpless, and hopeless. But if we can learn to breathe with deep presence, and to settle into ourselves, we can arrive home with grace to be with our suffering and tend to it's needs.
Take time to create space for your meditation today. Clear your altar, or create one. Cleanse the air with incense, sage, or other fragrances that bring you into presence. And find a comfortable seat or a place to lay down. This is your safe space to come back home to yourself. Take care of it.
