After two years of inactivity due to Covid-19, Kelantan border in Pengkalan Kubor is now alive with business and tourism activities.
Apart from visiting the famous duty-free zone, Malaysians are seen crossing the border to get to Tak Bai town for weekend shopping.
Many boarded the ferry service provided by a Thai private company as the passenger boats had yet to operate.
Checks at the Pengkalan Kubor ICQS showed people in long queues at both immigration's entry and exit counters.
The ferry operates from ICQS here to Tak Bai jetty and back for five times a day, from 10am to 5.30pm.
