The Chidaines have been pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in the region and focus on single-vineyard wines. Yields are ultra-low, and they have many old vines and vinification in the cellar is very traditional. Many have argued that Francois Chidaine has achieved for Chenin Blanc what Didier Dagueneau achieved with Sauvignon: wines of exceptional texture and complexity.
