In March 2012, zenith Magazine's Daniel Gerlach and Marcel Mettelsiefen travelled to Deir Mar Musa monastery in Syria to meet with Pater Paolo Dall'Oglio. The Jesuit priest was exiled the same year, re-entered Syria in 2013 and went missing around Raqqah soon thereafter. In this hitherto unpublished interview he talks about his vision of an international intervention and the nature of the Syrian conflict.
