2/5/2023. Ginnie Springs Outdoors near High Springs Florida. Devil's Eye/Ear Cave System. We entered Devil's Eye dropping deco bottles in the Gallery. We Ran DPVs to Stage Bottle Rock where we each left a stage. We then proceeded to just shy of the Heinkle Restriction where we dropped our other stages and also DPVs. We then proceeded to swim in very high flow to a little past the 4th T. The line is supposed to curl back around on itself, and we had gone from swimming into a spring to swimming into a syphon, but the line arrows had not switched. This may be because the passage ahead is not large enough for back-mounted scuba or rebreather divers. As we were expecting the arrows to change and they had not, we decided to turn around and perhaps at some point in the future dive the short section of tunnel from the other direction.
