“Why should I pull any punches?”

Here we are! Thank you for 600 subs! This has definitely taken the most effort out of any of my remixes - big shoutout to IschmarVI ([ Ссылка ]) for providing a midi of the song! I only found this after it was halfway done, but it greatly sped up making the latter half of the song. This pursuit theme really grew on me, and I love the elements that Overture to Pursuit takes from it. The two flow together really well, so keep an eye out for a video that connects them soon. Like the overture, I really went full orchestra on this. It’s hard to make a midi orchestra sound in any way convincing, so I hope you like it! I drew from the few different versions of this song. I think there’s a reason there aren’t a whole lot of DGS remixes out there - the composition is complicated! I was even going to add more to this piece but my computer straight up started running out of memory - I used up too many tracks. So that’s my excuse for staying close to the source material again this time! I love the countermelodies in this song. I used a lot of panning and balancing to make all of the parts mesh together. I also boosted the supporting strings featured in overture at 2:14 to have an explosive lead-in to the finish. Again, thanks for listening! Let me know what you think.
