Thomas Watson, Executive Director of Rural Support Partners in Asheville, North Carolina, serves on the Richmond Fed’s 12-member Community Investment Council. Council members help inform us about emerging issues and trends in communities across the Fifth District, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods and communities. They are leaders from both rural and urban communities who understand the challenges to and opportunities for local economic growth.
