Frank Zane is undoubtedly one of the most aesthetic bodybuilders of all time In this video, I give a complete breakdown describing how he got such an aesthetic physique, and how you can follow a similar path.
Frank emphasized compound lifts, drop sets, and transverse abdominis training. He was known for his tight stomach vacuum and small waist. His physique won him several huge competitions including 3 Mr. Olympias, Mr. Universe, and Mr. America.
Focusing on the lower abs, transverse abdominis, lower pecs, back, and shoulders, will get you a physique like Frank Zane's if your genetics call for it. He trained with both a PPL and upper/lower split. Frank always made sure to add a "powerlifting type movement" like bench press, squats, or deadlift, to each workout.
