The UK Home Office confirmed on 20 April 2021 that the COVID-19-adjusted right-to-work check process will terminate on 16 May 2021. Even though employers will be required to commence fully compliant right-to-work verifications from 17 May 2021, they will not have to complete retrospective checks where the regulated process has been utilized.
