Wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik and farmer leader Rakesh Tikait reached Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur’s residence for a truce meet on Wednesday. The sports minister has invited the wrestlers for “fresh talks”. The meeting is happening days after the wrestlers met Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi. However, the wrestlers found the meeting “inconclusive”. Wrestlers have been protesting against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, alleging he sexually harassed women grapplers, including a minor. So far, two FIRs have been lodged against Brij Bhushan, and he has been booked under the Pocso act.
