Gymnastics in the 1924 Olympic Games barely resembled the current competition format. Athletes competed collectively, with only a few seconds on each apparatus, which we can identify as some of the same apparatus found it today's gymnastics events

The Paris 1924 Olympic Games were the last time only men competed in gymnastics, with women having their debut in the Amsterdam 1928 Summer Games.
