New Scotland Spirits founder Jesse Sommer leads our friends and neighbors through a rousing "Instructed Whiskey Tasting," introducing them to each of our handcrafted Helderberg Whiskies (single malt, rye, wheat, and bourbon whiskies).

Distilled from grains grown in the fields of our hometown farms, Jesse guides his fellow New Scots through the nuances and flavors which define the terroir of our beloved New Scotland, NY.

He also shares his signature "sniff and sip" approach to drinking a fine whiskey ("sniff, hold that breath, and then tip the glass until the spirit kisses your tongue").
