Royal Jubilees are a time for Britain to come together and celebrate a milestone in their monarch's reign.
Queen Victoria celebrated her 50th year as monarch with a Golden Jubilee banquet at Buckingham Palace followed by a procession through London. She then became the first monarch to celebrate 60 years, her Diamond Jubilee.
Queen Elizabeth II is now celebrating her Platinum Jubilee - 70 years on the throne, making her the longest-reigning monarch in British history. Her Platinum Jubilee celebrations follow on from epic 4-day celebrations in 2012 with a pageant of vessels sailing down the Thames.
