While out fishing in my new catfish boat, I encountered a stretched trim belt issue. I attempted a DIY fix using the head adjustment, but it only held up for two trips. Unable to wait for my local Minn Kota repair shop, I took matters into my own hands, but ended up losing a spring during reassembly. Despite the challenges, I'm still impressed by this equipment. It prompted me to upgrade to a new one with the remote I prefer, as the touchscreen remote on this unit proved tricky to use!

UPDATE: I found the missing part and with a friends help its back together now. He is buying it from me too.
