Persian food is the best! Also Korean food is quite tasty....and Italian...sheesh.
I'm all over the place in these videos, so I would like to provide you with a list of the ingredients that I used.
I usually eyeball an intuitive amount when making Persian food (like my Grandma joons before me!). So you will have to look up exact portions online, there are tons of recipies all over the interwebs.
Ghormeh Sabzi
white onions......caramelized
tuRmeric
dried limes........find at any middle eastern market
fresh or dry parsley, cilantro, green onion or chives
fenugreek, dry or fresh. go super light! Its bitter and provides the dish with umami and its distinctive flavor, but she is strong!
stew lamb or beef. Throw in mushrooms or no meat if you are veggie
kidney beans or black eyed peas
water

Tahdig Rice
long grain basmati
saffron
plain yogurt
butt butt butter
